EE’s broadband is the budget baby of BT, running on the same network as its parent company with its reliable speeds at a reasonable price.
Currently, EE is ranked as the number one mobile network provider in the UK, all thanks to its large-scale 4G coverage. But can EE’S broadband service match its mobile network standards?
Our Offers
EE’s standard broadband is their cheapest broadband offer, coming in at £23.50 per month. Their standard broadband comes with an average speed of 10 Mbps, which is a great service for smaller households with one or two devices.
EE’s Fibre plus broadband is their mid-range option, for just £27.00 per month. Their fibre plus broadband comes with 74 Mbps which allows larger households and shared accommodations to stream, play video games and have access to the internet for general browsing all at the same time!
EE also offers a faster broadband service with their Fibre Max 100, for £31.00 per month. Their fibre max 100 broadband has an average speed of 145Mbps, making it the perfect internet solution for small businesses with a high demand for WiFi connection.
Extras
If you are currently an EE mobile customer, you can receive free additional data to add to your existing limits if you also sign up for EE broadband. However, with unlimited becoming the preferred option for mobile data, it could be argued whether this offer is a bonus.
For new customers looking to leave their current broadband providers before their contract ends, EE offers an early cancellation credit of £50 for those who choose to switch to them. EE Broadband services also come with a year free subscription to Norton Security Premium, enabling you to protect up to ten devices as well as parental controls.
Our View
You will pay a premium price to be with BT when similar services are provided at a much cheaper price with EE.
EE offers value for money with its added extras and its high download speeds suitable for all households to take advantage of. This is why we would recommend considering EE when choosing your next broadband provider, especially if you are looking for a good fibre deal!
