Where to find the 2022 Golden Globe Nominees on Streaming Sites

By Unknown on 22/12/2021 13:39

Are you interested in the latest TV series? Want to compare TV deals? With award season coming up, it's hard to know which streaming sites are showing the nominated TV shows of 2021 that have graced our screens all year. Subscriptions such as Netflix and Disney + offer the best TV package deals and have hundreds of the most-watched content worldwide. Below is a list of the Golden Globe nominees for best TV series and where to find them on streaming sites.

Now TV

High-end shows usually found on Sky channels can be found exclusively on Now TV, with their different passes offering you a variety of content.

Usually at £9.99 per month, the Entertainment package offers hits such as Mare of Easttown, which is nominated for Best TV motion picture and Best Actress for star Kate Winslet. It is described as a drama that explores the dark side of a close community.

Now TV and broadband also offer relatively cheap tv deals, like 40% off for three months for a combined Entertainment and Cinema package, which includes a 7-day free trial. Succession, described by The Financial Times as being "Savagely Brilliant", is nominated four times at the Golden Globes and is exclusively found on Now TV in the UK.

To compare TV deals on the shows alone, Now TV offers the widest range of nominated content than any other streaming site, including the cinema package. However, it is one of the more expensive streaming sites, even with the Now TV deals. So when looking for cheap TV deals, an alternative may need to be considered.

Netflix

A fan favourite over the years, Netflix has started producing original content that has gathered more and more attention. Ranging from £5.99 to £13.99, it is one of the more affordable streaming sites and is available on every platform.

Shows such as the Korean favourite Squid Game and the limited series Maid are nominated this year and are extremely popular as episodes are released all at the same time. It means that binge-watching shows have become the norm; instead of waiting each week for the new episode.

As it is a cheap TV deal and new content is released each week, Netflix is one of the most popular streaming sites and to compare TV deals, this must come into contention.

Disney +

As the massive conglomerate continues to buy more property, Disney + has a wide range of content, such as Pixar, Star Wars and its new feature Star. For £7.99 per month, customers have access to everything that Disney produces and has no limit on the number of screens it can be viewed on.

With Marvel joining the Disney company, the limited series Wandavision becomes the first Marvel product to be nominated for a Golden Globe, in the categories of Best Actor, Best Actress and Best TV Motion Picture. When you compare TV deals, you should consider the wide range of shows it can offer and make sure it is value for money. Something that Disney + easily does.

The new feature Star also releases new nominated content such as Reservation Dogs and Only Murders in the Building.

Apple TV

The newest streaming site, Apple TV, is a new contender when you compare TV deals. With a 7-day free trial, Apple TV is a cheap alternative and could be considered one of the best TV package deals, as it is only £4.99 per month or free for three months if you have bought an Apple product alongside.

Most recently, Ted Lasso has gained critical and commercial acclaim and increased Apple's viewership 6 times for the season two premiere. It is nominated in all acting categories, with Jason Sudeikis previously winning the Golden Globe for best actor in 2021. He is seen as the favourite once more.

The Morning Show also has received critical praise and features big stars such as Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston and Steve Carell. It is nominated four times, including Best TV drama series.

There are also free alternatives that are usually included in all TV packages for those who are looking for cheap TV deals. BBC iPlayer shows highly rated Pose, which follows the 1980s ball culture set at the height of the Aids pandemic and Channel 4 releases The Great weekly, starring Elle Fanning as Catherine the Great.

These channels are ideal for those who don't want to commit to a monthly subscription, however, you should remember to pay for a TV license. If you watch live TV without one, the fines can be up to £1000.

Hopefully, this list has helped compare TV deals for those interested in upcoming award seasons. To find the best TV package deals and compare TV deals, Broadband Money Saver offers a comparison feature and can easily show you the cheapest deals.
